La-Tea-Dolls Red Hat Society queen mother Melva Sickelbaugh, left, helps load teddy bears to be donated to the Ohio Highway Patrol for use in comforting youngsters involved in accidents.

State Patrolman Shane Borton, right, talks to the group about highway safety at their meeting at the Oblate Residences on Flaire Dr. in Toledo. Members of the La-Tea-Dolls brought the teddy bears and tea cups to have some tea time with the residents there. Some of the teddy bears will be distributed to other charitable groups, according to Mrs. Sicklebaugh. Some 30 women attended the charity event.
