Hall seeks top Fulton County farmers, breeders

WAUSEON - Nominations are being sought for outstanding agricultural leaders of Fulton County for the 2008 Agricultural Hall of Fame.

To qualify for the award, a nominee must be a long-established farmer or breeder who has made a major contribution or someone who has worked in an agriculture-related activity or agri-business for 25 years or more. Award recipients must have made their major contributions in Ohio.

Award presentations will be at the Agricultural Hall of Fame dinner set for August at Sauder Village in Archbold. Past recipients of the award will be

present.

Hall of Fame members will be featured in a display at the Fulton County Fair, with pictures and biographies of the current year's recipients displayed in the foyer of the Robert Fulton Agriculture Center on State Rt. 108.

Application forms are available at the Fulton County Extension Office, 8770 State Rt. 108, Suite A, Wauseon, or by calling 419-337-9210. Completed nominations should be returned to the extension office by July 15.
