Hallett Ave. talk set in Swanton

SWANTON -- The construction schedule for the Hallett Avenue overpass project is the subject of an Ohio Department of Transportation meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at Swanton Public Library.

Preparations began last year to replace the Norfolk Southern Railroad crossing on Hallett with a bridge. Chestnut Street, Brindley Road, and Broadway Avenue will be closed at their intersections with Hallett; Hallett will be closed later in the project.

The $8 million bridge is to be finished in 2013.
