CHATHAM-KENT, Ont. -- Authorities Tuesday tentatively identified Dr. Michael Leslie, 43, of Perkins Township, as the man whose body washed up Friday on the shore of Rondeau Park, in Ontario, across Lake Erie from Cleveland.

Dr. Brian Baxter, the Erie County coroner, said Tuesday that he is waiting for dental records before making an official ruling.

Dr. Leslie was reported missing Oct. 20 at 7:17 p.m. by his wife. The U.S. Coast Guard found his 31-foot cabin cruiser the next day, shortly before suspending their search for the doctor.
