Cubic fruit grown in Japan

Employees of Japanese Agricultural Cooperation Kagawa arrange cubic watermelons that will be shipped from Zentsuji city, Kagawa Prefecture, in western Japan.

The 4.5-by-4.5-by-4.5-inch fruits, which are grown in transparent cubed containers, will be sold for 10,000 yen apiece, or about $125 in U.S. dollars.

Their unusual shape makes the watermelons easier to package and ship.
