It’s Thrifty Thursday, when I go searching for fabulous food finds for $5 or less. At DaCapo Coffee, I was able to get an entire light lunch within that frugal budget.

A mug of hot, hearty Smoked Brisket Chili was full of wholesome vegetables and cost only $3.49. So I rewarded myself for eating so nobly (and so well) with a lovely chocolate cherry cupcake for a mere $1.50.

Coffees, teas, smoothies, and bubble tea all fall within our budget, too. And they pair beautifully with some of the shop’s other handmade treats, such as turnovers, napoleons, cannoli, eclairs, cookies, brownies, scones, pie, cheesecake, doughnuts, muffins, and chocolate-covered Oreos. For those seeking a treat that also offers some nutrition, the $2.79 breakfast rounds are filled with goodness: fruit, flax, seeds, and more.
