Pillsbury Bake-Off held today

The 42nd Pillsbury Bake-Off takes place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. today in Orlando, with 100 contestants from across the country. One talented cook will walk away a millionaire.

NBC's Today show will air the grand prize winner announcement live from Orlando on the program tomorrow at 8 a.m. Today airs on WNWO-TV Channel 24 from 7 to 10 a.m.

"We'll be posting the winner information on our Web site (www.pillsbury.com/bakeoff)," said Peg Ilka, spokesman for the contest.

Consumers can also turn to a video podcast, which will have a taped video of how to prepare the winning recipe.

Four contestants are from Ohio: Carole Resnick of Cleveland, Cindy Egersdorfer of Cuyahoga Falls, Jean Gottfried of Upper Sandusky, and Anne Johnson of Vincent.

The last bake-off was held in 2004 in Hollywood, Calif. Findlay resident Suzanne Conrad was the million dollar winner with Oats 'n Honey Granola Pie.
