Curtice man is killed in Ottawa County crash

CLAY CENTER, Ohio — A Curtice, Ohio, man was killed yesterday when his car went off Trowbridge Road near Fostoria Road and hit a tree west of here in Ottawa County’s Allen Township, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Brad J. Gargac, 23, who was thrown from the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers at the patrol’s Sandusky post said. The impact split the car into two sections.

Mr. Gargac was westbound on Trowbridge about 12:10 p.m. when his car went out of control, went airborne, and hit the tree, troopers said.
