Man on Ohio Turnpike charged in $4.7M marijuana bust
Ruci

A Naperville, Ill., man was arraigned yesterday in Maumee Municipal Court after authorities seized 104 pounds of marijuana valued at $4.7 million from his vehicle during a traffic stop Tuesday on the Ohio Turnpike.

Erjon Ruci, 28, was charged with trafficking in drugs, drug abuse, and driving in marked lanes, authorities said. He is being held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $2 million bond.

Troopers stopped his westbound car on the turnpike near the Toledo Airport-Swanton interchange about 3:40 p.m., citing a traffic-lane violation.
