The Toledo Mud Hens & Toledo Walleye
Sporting the Best Venues for Your Special Events

Pitch Fifth Third Field to Your Planner
Fifth Third Field offers six unique private areas featuring big-league amenities. All areas have casual and upscale menu options.

The “Home Run Picnic Terraces”, located atop the home-run fence, are the facility’s largest combined party area. They feature three tiers of picnic tables and the Toledo Children’s Hospital Kids Play Area.

The “Roost” provides space for 25 to 350 guests, and features a rip-roaring atmosphere and adjacent climate-controlled indoor lounge. Padded game seats overhang right field.

Accommodating 25 to 375 people, the “Nest” and the “Coop” are club-level decks. These venues offer vistas of the playing field, skyline and Warehouse District. Padded game seats are located in front of each deck.

The “Coop-a-Cabana” is a covered party area perfect for groups of 50 to 75. It comes with field-level game seats. For more privacy, there’s the “Perch” offering room for 25 to 50 people. Groups booking the “Perch” can choose game seats anywhere in the ballpark, based on availability.

Finally, for the utmost in comfort, there are the Luxury Suites. Only three are available per game and they book months in advance. But they are well worth the planning. Each accommodates 18 guests in maximum comfort, includes 18 tickets to the game, and provides a wide range of menus, from casual buff ets to upscale dinners. Sliding doors between suites let you combine units to make room for 36 or 54 guests.

Do you have a limited budget? Consider Club Level season tickets in the balcony, directly in front of the Luxury Suites. Limited in number, these seats overhang the lower level portion of the stadium and are close to all the action. An exclusive elevator ensures privacy for Club Level season ticket holders. Plus, you can entertain guests in the Suite Level Lounge and on two outdoor terraces overlooking Huron and Washington Streets. A concessions concourse features table seating and a full-service bar.

The New Arena: an “Ice” Place to Party

The Lucas County Arena, also located downtown near Fifth Third Field, is scheduled to open in the fall of 2009. It will be home to the Toledo Walleye, the area’s ECHL minor league hockey franchise,

as well as to an expansion arenafootball2 franchise that will begin play there in the spring of 2010. With hockey, arena football, concerts, the Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus and other family- oriented events scheduled there, the new arena promises to be a year-round source of fun and entertainment.

Be part of the excitement! The Lucas County Arena will feature private venues available for rent for holiday parties, birthday bashes, wedding receptions, bar mitzvahs, office functions and more. Plans for the “green” facility include a Banquet Facility, a Club Lounge with Club Level seating, as well as Luxury Suites with their own Suite Lounge and adjoining outdoor terrace. And, of course, a full range of menus will be available to suit every taste and budget.

Is it any wonder scores of area businesses have joined the Mud Hens fan club, and are lining up to be part of the new arena’s exciting future as well? With all the options available at these facilities, every event has a champion chance at success.
