Estate Jewelers
Buying Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamonds & Fine Antique Jewelry for Reproduction

Founded in 1978, Estate Jewelers began as a buying outlet for heirs of estates that wished to sell the heirloom jewelry and timepieces left to them by their parents and grandparents. It is a service the firm continues to offer today, purchasing diamonds, rhinestone costume jewelry, antique pocket watches, classic wristwatches and gold, platinum and silver in any form. Over those 32 years, however, Szymanski also acquired a feel for the intricate and appealing jewelry designs popularized in the early 1700s through the 1900s. Eventually, he was tempted to try his hand at reproducing these motifs for sale through his outlet – with great success.

Exhibits at trade shows in New York, Tucson, Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Miami led to development of a design studio, and most recently to the creation of prototype antique-style jewelry for sale on the Home Shopping Network. That success led to an expansion of the original Sylvania facility, resulting in a 3,000-square-foot showroom that opened in September. Further expansion is on the drawing boards for 2009, too, when Szymanski hopes to launch a retail diamond exchange and an outlet for the sale of pre-owned Rolex timepieces.
