No labor-contract action from Perrysburg council

After more than an hour behind closed doors to discuss proposed new labor contracts with the city’s three police unions, Perrysburg City Council took no action last night on the agreements.

Three separate agreements with the Ohio Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, which represents patrol officers, sergeants, and dispatchers and the animal control officer, were on the agenda but were not discussed following the lengthy executive session.

City Administrator John Alexander said the current municipal contracts do not expire until Feb. 28.
