Wood County panel to mull rezoning in Milton Township

BOWLING GREEN — The Wood County Planning Commission plans to review two Milton Township rezoning requests tomorrow.

Deshler Farmer’s Elevator Co. wants to rezone a 19.5-acre parcel and 0.41-acre parcel on the west side of Custar Road about a quarter-mile north of State Rt. 281. The land would become the site of an agronomy center.

Custar Stone Co. has applied to rezone 60.3 acres on the north side of Portage Road about a quarter-mile west of the Henry-Wood County Line Road. The land would be used for expansion of the company’s stone quarry operation.

The planning commission is to meet at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow in the Wood County Office Building in the courthouse complex.
