Rep names Krahenbuhl as its artistic director

The Toledo Repertoire Theatre has named Lee Krahenbhl its new artistic and managing director. He replaces Gloria Moulopoulos, who retired in May.

Krahenbhl has 35 years of experience as an actor and director. He earned his doctorate in theater history in 1989 at the University of Oregon and has a master's in theology and the arts. He has taught at Judson University in Elgin, Ill., Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Mich., Manchester College in North Manchester, Ind., and the University of Toledo.

He performed in The Crucible and Cabaret for the Rep, Henry IV for Celery Flats Theatre in Kalamazoo, Mich., and Our Town at the International Theatre in Vienna.

He currently is the director of congregational relations at Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County, Michigan, and teaches at Mercy College of Northwest Ohio and Monroe County Community College.

Yo, Philly students! Tony Danza might be teaching in a city high school this fall.

The former talk show host and star of the sitcoms Taxi and Who's the Boss? is planning to star in a new reality show called Teach.

If approved by Philadelphia education officials, cameras would roll at Northeast High School as Danza co-teaches a 10th-grade English class.

The School Reform Commission will vote next week on allowing at least 13 episodes to be shot and broadcast on the cable channel A&E. Danza already is attending teacher training with other first-year instructors in the district.

The House Bunny star Anna Faris has married her fiance, actor Chris Pratt.

A publicist for Faris confirms that the two were wed in Bali on July 9. People.com was the first to report the news.

Kate Gosselin said during an appearance on Live With Regis and Kelly that her marriage to her estranged husband, Jon, is over forever.

Host Regis Philbin said he had a sense the marriage could be saved.

Replied Gosselin: "I can't say that I think you're right, at all."

She announced her separation from Jon Gosselin in June on the couple's TLC network reality show, Jon & Kate Plus 8. Both parents are continuing with the show, which documents the challenges of raising their twins and sextuplets.

The late Texas songwriter Cindy Walker left an unusual and generous gift to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum: her catalog of about 500 songs, many of them pop and country classics.

The Nashville museum announced Wednesday that Walker donated her share of the songs, including future royalties. Officials say it's the first donation of its kind.

Several stars recorded Walker's songs, including Bing Crosby, Roy Orbison, Ray Charles, Bob Wills, Ernest Tubb, Eddy Arnold, and Willie Nelson.

Walker died in 2006. She was inducted in the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1997.

Jay Leno has dodged disciplinary action after being accused of breaking union rules last year.

On Tuesday, the Writers Guild of America, West sent an e-mail to members listing those found guilty of breaking ranks during a 100-day writers strike that ended in February of last year.

Leno, a guild member, was not among the three writers disciplined.

According to the contract, "material written by the person who delivers it on the air" is exempted from the agreement. The exception applies to shows outside prime-time, which includes NBC's Tonight Show.
