Hens' Ketchner named IL pitcher of week

Mud Hens LHP Ryan Ketchner was named International League pitcher of the week, the league office announced Tuesday.

Ketchner won the award based on his only two starts of the season for Toledo. Ketchner won both of those road starts, allowing just 11 hits and one earned run in 16 innings for a 0.56 ERA.

On Sept. 2, Ketchner limited Indianapolis to five hits and one run in seven innings, striking out four. In the Mud Hens' finale at Columbus on Labor Day, Ketchner threw a complete-game shutout, holding the Clippers to just six hits while fanning a pair.
