Driver sought in Michigan road rage incident
BLADE STAFF
The Michigan State Police are looking to find a vehicle involved in a felonious assault late Saturday that apparently occurred as a result of road rage.
Troopers said a forest green Chevy Silverado pickup truck with a rebel flag in the back window was involved in the incident that occurred around 9 p.m. on Telegraph Road. According to police, the driver of the vehicle intentionally rammed the vehicle of a Petersburg, Mich. man after tailgating him for several miles.
The incident began in Monroe Township near Albain Road and ended at Wood Road in Monroe Township where the assault occurred. The pickup truck is reported to have a lifted frame and oversized tires.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Brad Martin at the Michigan State Police’s Monroe post at 734-242-3500.
