Helena motorist killed in crash of his minivan

BURGOON, Ohio — A 72-year-old Helena, Ohio, man was killed when the minivan he was driving crashed in Sandusky County, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Rollind Wells was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred about 11:35 p.m. Wednesday, troopers said.

Mr. Wells was westbound on County Road 41 and went off the south side of the road. The vehicle struck a traffic sign and a culvert and overturned.
