Hundreds turn out for flu shots in Wood County
Matt Frey of Bowling Green and his wife, Jaimee, try to hold their daughter, Adrienne, 3, still so she can get a seasonal flu shot during a clinic administered by the Wood County Health Department. Adrienne was not exactly happy about getting a shot, even after watching her mom get one during the daylong clinic, held at the Wood County Fairgrounds in Bowling Green.

Bob Conklin of Grand Rapids, Ohio, gets his shot. More than 1,100 people received shots at yesterday’s clinic, which was intended to provide vaccines and information to the public, as well as to test the health department’s ability to vaccinate a large number of people in a day.
