Stranahan hosts Celtic Woman

Celtic Woman Isle of Hope Concert will be staged at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Stranahan Theater, 4645 Heatherdowns Blvd. The musical ensemble is made up of five Irish female artists, vocalists Chloe Agnew, Lynn Hilary, Lisa Kelly, and Alex Sharpe and fiddler Mairead Nesbitt. The group's repertoire ranges from traditional Celtic tunes to modern songs. Celtic Woman has released four albums. Tickets are $33, $48, and $63 from the box office, 419-381-8851, ticketmaster.com, or 800-745-3000.

Master illusionist Lyn Dilles will perform at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Ritz Theatre, 30 South Washington St., Tiffin. Illusionaire - The Magic of Lyn is a family-friendly show. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students from 419-448-8544.

National recording artists O.A.R. will perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the University of Toledo's Savage Arena, 2801 West Bancroft St. Opening act will be Elmwood. Tickets are $27.50; $17.50 for UT students with valid ID from 419-530-GOLD, online at utrockets.com, Ticketmaster outlets, 800-745-3000, or $32.50 day of show.

The 20th annual Tent City (for Homeless Awareness) will be tomorrow through Sunday on the Civic Center Mall on Jackson Street in downtown Toledo. Highlights include opening ceremonies at 6 p.m. tomorrow, followed by a mayoral debate at 7. Entertainment starts with Todd Gagne at 8, followed by Or Something Like That, Keys to Eden, and Grey Devils featuring Pat Lewandowski. In addition to distributing clothes, Tent City will provide medical and dental care on Saturday and a Council Candidate Forum at 6:30 p.m followed by entertainment by Candice Coleman at 9 p.m., AJ Szozdja, and Grey Devils featuring Pat Lewandowski. A pancake breakfast from 8-10 a.m. Sunday will be followed by a worship service and closing ceremonies. Information from 1matters.org.
