2 teens charged in assault
Toledo man, 25, struck by car, critically injured

A 25-year-old Toledo man was seriously injured when he was dragged by a car that then hit him, sending him airborne for 10 feet, at a mobile home park in Perrysburg Township.

Steven Jagodzinski was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, where he remained in critical condition last night.

The driver of the vehicle, Dominic Dilucia, 18, of Rossford was charged with felonious assault, and Gage Lee, 18, of Northwood was charged with complicity to felonious assault.

During their arraignments yesterday in Perrysburg Municipal Court, preliminary hearings were scheduled for Thursday and bond was set at $20,000 each. They were being held in the Wood County jail.

Perrysburg Township Detective Todd Curtis said yesterday this was not a hit-and-run incident, but rather an assault with a vehicle.

The victim was visiting family at Perrysburg Estates in the 23700 block of Lime City Road when he noticed people near his car and went outside about 1:40 a.m. Sunday.

An oral altercation ensued, and the victim became wedged between the open rear passenger door of Mr. Dilucia's vehicle and the side of the car, the detective said.

As the car backed up, the victim rolled away, and he was getting onto his feet when the suspect drove forward and struck him, Detective Curtis said. Two others in the car were questioned and released, he said.
