9 Fostoria residents arrested in early morning drug bust

FOSTORIA - Nine city residents were arrested and charged with drug offenses in a drug bust early Tuesday, Fostoria police said.

The suspects were arrested at six city residences about 3:30 a.m. by area law enforcement agents who were simultaneously executing six search warrants, police said.

Seized were undisclosed amounts of crack cocaine and marijuana, several Oxycontin pills, plastic bags, two scales, and three pit bulls.

The drug bust resulted from a 3½-month investigation, which involved about 85 officers, police said.
