Secor checkpoint yields 1 drunken-driving arrest
A sobriety checkpoint from 8 to 11 p.m. Saturday in the 2200 block of Secor Road, just north of West Bancroft Street, resulted in one arrest for operating a vehicle under the influence out of 589 vehicles checked.
In addition, two seat-belt violations and nine citations for various offenses were issued. Two vehicles were impounded and three arrests were made for misdemeanors, Sgt. John Wenz-lick of the Ottawa Hills Police Department said.
