Automated trash pickup to be topic of 5 meetings
Five informational meetings about Toledo’s transition to automated refuse and recycling collection are scheduled for:
w 6:30 tonight in the East Toledo Family Center, 1020 Varland Ave., with Councilman Mike Craig.
• 7 p.m. Nov. 17 in Friendship Park Community Center, 2930 131st St., with Councilman Lindsay Webb.
• 1:30 p.m. Nov. 18 in the Margaret L. Hunt Senior Center, 2121 Garden Lake Pkwy., with Councilman D. Michael Collins.
• 6:30 p.m. Nov. 18 at the University of Toledo Health Science Campus, 3000 Arlington Ave. in Room 100 of the Health Education Building, with Mr. Collins and Mr. Craig.
• 6 p.m. Nov. 19 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 4030 Douglas Rd., with Councilman Tom Waniewski.
