Monroe County sets goal of ending homelessness

During next week’s Homeless Awareness Week in Monroe County, citizens are encouraged “to recognize and support the efforts of service agencies working toward ending homelessness,” according to a resolution by the Monroe County Board of Commissioners.

The county’s Network on Homelessness, and the Monroe County Ten-Year Planning Committee have pledged to provide solutions and shelter for people who don’t have homes, the resolution notes.
