Public comments asked for Tiffin police review

TIFFIN — Assessors with the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies Inc. will be in Tiffin Dec. 5 to examine the department’s policies, management, operations, and support services.

As part of the assessment, the community and employees are invited to comment on the department at a public information session at 6 p.m. Dec. 7 at Franks Hall at Tiffin University. Comments also may be submitted by phone, 419-443-1899, between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Dec. 7.

The Tiffin Police Department must go through a reaccreditation process every three years.
