Real estate agent heads Family Service board

A real estate agent was recently appointed chairman of the board of trustees for the Family Service of Northwest Ohio, a nonprofit agency that helps northwest Ohio families.

Patrick Leahy was appointed at the agency’s 105th annual meeting.

A member of the Family Service board since 2007, Mr. Leahy has practiced real estate in the Toledo market for more than 21 years.

Family Service of Northwest Ohio helps families by providing affordable counseling, home care, outreach, advocacy, and education services.

Programs and services are funded by various local mental health agencies.
