Ninth Annual
Community Resources Workshop for Educators
Learn, earn credit and have fun this summer!

June 18-22, 2007



Join us for a fast-paced week, featuring loads of fun and great activities for your classroom from education specialists at: The Blade, COSI Toledo, Franciscan Center and Life Lab of Lourdes College, Metroparks of the Toledo Area, Toledo Jazz Society, Toledo-Lucas County Public Library, Toledo Mud Hens, Toledo Museum of Art, Toledo Zoo, WGTE Educational Resource Center

Make curriculum connections as you visit local venues and discover fi rst-hand how to access and use the wealth of materials and services available to you!

You’ll come away with:

• Ready-to-use lessons and ideas that sharpen student test-taking skills and meet standards across the curriculum

• 30-35 contact hours or two credits from the University of Toledo, Bowling Green State University or Lourdes College (*one additional credit may be obtained through independent study)

• Additional information presented by Downtown Toledo, Inc., Sauder Village, Toledo Botanical Garden, Toledo Opera, S.S. Willis B. Boyer, and the Wolcott House Museum
