    In our 20th year of service to the community, The Blade's Newspaper In Education program includes local businesses, organizations, universities and individuals as well as more than 1,000 educators in kindergarten through adult classrooms.

    Vacation Donations

    Home delivery customers have the opportunity to donate the value of their newspapers while they are away on vacation to the NIE Vacation donation program. These funds are used to furnish area schools with newspapers for summer school and throughout the year.

    $1 Donation

    Customers also have the option of donating $1 or any amount to the NIE Program by checking the box on their statement and adding a donation to their payment.

    Donations of all amounts are very important to the NIE program and are greatly appreciated by teachers and students throughout Northwest Ohio and Southeastern Michigan!
