Snow will speak at UT ceremony
U.S. Treasury Secretary John Snow will speak at one of the commencement ceremonies next month at the University of Toledo.
Mr. Snow, who received a bachelor's degree from UT in 1962, will give the keynote address May 10 to graduates of the colleges of arts and sciences, engineering, and education.
It begins at 10 a.m. in Savage Hall.
Before becoming Treasury secretary, the Toledo native was chief executive officer of CSX Corp. railroad.
Rosie Mauk, director of the national service program AmeriCorps, will speak during UT's afternoon ceremony that day for the colleges of business administration, health and human services, pharmacy, and university college. That ceremony begins at 2 p.m., also in Savage Hall.
Ms. Mauk received an associate's degree from UT in 1967 to be a medical assistant.
Speaking at the law school commencement will be Howard Malovany, vice president, secretary, and general counsel of Wm. Wrigley, Jr., Co. He graduated from UT's law school in 1977.
The ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. May 10 in SeaGate Centre.
