QUALIFICATIONS FOR PROFESSIONAL
ENGINEERING SERVICES

THE VILLAGE OF HOLLAND INTENDS TO CONTRACT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE RECONSTRUCTION OF RAILROAD AND MADISON STREETS. ENGINEERING FIRMS INTERESTED IN BEING CONSIDERED FOR A CONTRACT TO PROVIDE THE REQUIRED SERVICES SHOULD REPLY WITH A STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS NO LATER THAN 4 PM MARCH 24, 2010. STATEMENTS RECEIVED AFTER THIS DEADLINE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS SHOULD INCLUDE INFORMATION REGARDING THE FIRMS HISTORY; EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE OF OWNERS AND KEY TECHNICAL PERSONNEL; THE TECHNICAL EXPERTISE OF THE FIRMS CURRENT STAFF; THE FIRMS EXPERIENCE IN PERFORMING ENGINEERING STUDIES, DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION AND CONSTRUCTION OBSERVATION; AVAILABILITY OF STAFF; THE FIRMS EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES; REFERENCES; AND ANY PREVIOUS WORK PERFORMED FOR THE VILLAGE OF HOLLAND.

TWO (2) COPIES OF THE STATE OF QUALIFICATIONS SHOULD BE TRANSMITTED TO: THE VILLAGE OF HOLLAND, ATTN: MAYOR YUNKER, 1245 CLARION AVENUE, HOLLAND, OH 43528, IN A SEALED ENVELOPE MARKED "RAILROAD / MADISON STREET RECONSTRUCTION".

AS REQUIRED BY OHIO REVISED CODE 153.65-71, RESPONDING FIRMS WILL BE EVALUATED AND RANKED IN ORDER OF THEIR QUALIFICATIONS. FOLLOWING THIS EVALUATION, HOLLAND WILL ENTER INTO CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS WITH THE MOST HIGHLY QUALIFIED FIRM.
