Toledo's unofficial Mayor-Elect Mike Bell said he plans to have a transition team and at least some of his cabinet in place by the time he takes office Jan. 4. Fresh off a convincing victory Tuesday night over endorsed Democrat Keith Wilkowski, the former Toledo fire chief told The Blade Wednesday he felt good about winning, but was not overwhelmed. >>

4 incumbents easily retain at-large seats
The four Toledo City Council incumbents seeking re-election easily retained their at-large seats and two challengers - a Democratic newcomer and a Republican who previously held office - won spots on council Tuesday night.
