Toledo leaders delay police layoffs
The city agreed to delay the layoffs of 125 police officers until further notice, city officials said after a meeting with the police union Wednesday morning. The officers to be laid off had been notified this week. Now, those officers will receive letters that the layoffs will be suspended indefinitely, city public safety director Shirley Green told The Blade.
