Local Chambers plan joint memberships

The Toledo Regional and Maumee Chambers of Commerce are to announce a joint

membership program today, with participants paying an added fee to gain access to benefits both groups offer.

A Maumee chamber member could pay an additional $150 a year to get access to the benefits of the Toledo chamber, and a Toledo member could receive a 25 percent dues reduction for the Maumee group to use its benefi ts, the groups said in a statement yesterday.

The Toledo chamber has 3,400 businesses, the Maumee group has 390.
