Speedway to acquire 88 GasAmerica stores, sites

FINDLAY — Speedway LLC will acquire 88 convenience store locations in Ohio and Indiana from GasAmerica Services Inc. and several parcels of undeveloped property in a deal announced Thursday.

The majority of the 88 locations will be converted to the Speedway brand, according to a release from Marathon Petroleum Corp. of Findlay, the parent company of Speedway. The deal will close at the end of May.

“These stores will be an outstanding addition to the Speedway brand,” Tony Kenney, president of Speedway, said in a release.
