Downtown Toledo bar evicted

329 Cocktails on Huron Street has closed.

The 329, a restaurant and bar at 329 Huron St. in downtown Toledo, has been evicted from its space for failing to make rent, said Bruce Schoenberger, an attorney representing the building’s landlord. It’s not clear if it will reopen or if another tenant will lease the space, he said.

The space formerly housed Ole Taco, which closed at the end of 2010 after less than a year in operation. Before that, the space was occupied by Diva, an upscale restaurant that existed from 2000-08.

Attempts to reach the management of The 329 were unsuccessful. The phone number for The 329 was disconnected and its Web site was suspended
