Sales-tax expansion plan draws skepticism
A proposal from Gov. John Kasich to expand sales tax collections to more services in Ohio is being met with apprehension from some business owners who worry the rules could hurt their bottom line. He proposed Ohio start collecting sales tax on travel services, research and public opinion polling, public relations services, lobbying, management consulting, parking, and cable television services, among others.
