ACHIEVEMENTS

■ Michael Burton-Prateley has been appointed to the position of special adviser to the board of directors of Toledo-based N-Viro International Corp. He is an executive with London-based BBM Energy and has a background in investment banking, international finance, and corporate governance.

■ Lauryl Kristufek-Hanf has been named the winner of the Charles Hicks Pharmacist of the Year Award by the Toledo Area Society of Healthsystem Pharmacists. She is the clinical pharmacy coordinator for Mercy St. Charles Hospital.

■ Ron Cutler has been named vice president of construction at the Toledo headquarters of the Douglas Co., a general contractor. Mr. Cutler was previously operations manager for Construction Works Inc. in Atlanta.

■ Toledo-owned RE/MAX Preferred Associates achieved the highest productivity per sales associate in northwest Ohio in 2012, according to a report from REAL Trends, a leading trends and research firm in the residential real estate industry.

■ Cocina de Carlos, a locally owned Mexican restaurant, has opened at 27072 Cannonade Dr. in Perrysburg Township. The restaurant, which is open seven days a week, will hold a grand opening celebration on June 4.
