Think where you work is one of the best places in the greater Toledo area?

Now’s the time to spread the word and maybe get some recognition for your company.

The Blade is partnering with WorkplaceDynamics to find the top places to work in metro Toledo.

Any organization with 35 or more employees can be considered, whether it is a private or public company, a for-profit or nonprofit business.

The competition is open to all organizations located in Lucas, Wood, Ottawa, and Fulton counties. Rankings will be based on a 22-question survey of employees that will be conducted by Workplace Dynamics, which is a leading research firm that specializes in polling employees to gather opinions about an organization's health and the engagement of its employees.

The Blade will publish a list of the top companies in January.

Companies can’t be considered unless they’re nominated, though.

Nominations must be received by Aug. 23, and nominations can be submitted online at toledoblade.com/nominate or can be made by calling 419-617-0606.

Surveys will be conducted from July through October.

WorkplaceDynamics, which has offices in London and Exton, Pa., has conducted top workplace surveys for more than 35 major metro areas, and it surveyed more than 1.7 million employees in 2012.
