Tiffin firm’s tax credit
to allow for 21 new jobs

COLUMBUS — The Ohio Tax Credit Authority has approved a tax credit for a Tiffin company.

Jacobson MFG-Tiffin received a 35 percent, five-year job creation tax credit. The company said that would allow it to create 21 full-time jobs that would generate almost $700,000 in additional payroll per year and retain $1.5 million in existing payroll.

Jacobson Mfg. specializes in cold-formed products for automobiles and other industries. Among its products are wheel nuts, specialty tubular parts, and safety restraint components.

The firm is part of Illinois-based Continental Midland LLC.
