■ Mannik & Smith, a Maumee-based engineering firm, has been named one of the top 500 design firms in the nation by Engineering News-Record magazine. Mannik & Smith is 413th on this year’s list of the largest engineering, architectural, and environmental design firms by revenue. The company has offices in Toledo, Cleveland, Columbus, Detroit, Monroe, Lansing, Canton, Mich., and Traverse City, Mich.

■ Steven A. Davis and James E. Rohr have been elected to Marathon Petroleum Corp.’s board of directors. Mr. Davis is chairman of the board and chief executive officer for Bob Evans Farms. Mr. Rohr is executive chairman of the PNC Financial Services Group, where he was previously chief executive officer, vice chairman, director, and chief operating officer.
