Rossford business district hosts fund-raiser ‘stroll’
8/19/2013The Rossford Beautification Committee, in conjunction with the Rossford Business Association, will sponsor “Strolling Downtown” from 12 to 3 p.m. Saturday. The event is a fund-raiser to pay for new landscaping downtown that is intended to encourage residents to visit local businesses.
Registration will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Rossford Recreation Center. For $2, participants will receive a map of downtown with the business locations. After visiting each business and getting a mark on the map, participants will be directed to the Edward Ford Memorial Park for a 2:30 p.m. raffle. For more information, call 419-725-2244.
