To mark the Labor Day holiday, Lathrop Co. will suspend work on its projects Tuesday morning for its parent company's ninth annual “Safety Stand Down.”
All workers will undergo a 30-minute training session at their respective job sites that will focus on ways workers can improve their health and take better care of themselves.
Turner Construction Co., which is Lathrop's parent company, said more than half of its job site incidents are related to personal illness.
