■ Mary Gregory has been named vice president of association services and director of work force development at the Associated General Contractors of Northwest Ohio. She will oversee contractor education, trustee services, legislative matters, and labor relations.

■ Go Grow Strategies of Findlay won the “Spark Award” at the annual B2B Marketing Conference. The award is given for breakthrough marketing by a start-up or newly funded B2B company.

■ The 2013 Business ConXions Showcase will take place from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at Springfield High School. The annual event, sponsored by the Holland Springfield Chamber of Commerce, showcases regional businesses in a vendor setting. Information: 419-865-2110.

■ The Northwest Ohio Regional Economic Development organization will hold a NORED Showcase from 3-6 p.m. Oct. 30 at the Holiday Inn French Quarter in Perrysburg Township.
