The assistant general manager for Penn National Gaming’s Hollywood Casino Toledo has been chosen to manage the company’s new racino in Austintown, Ohio.
Michael Galle’s appointment will become official in January, after he becomes licensed by the state’s racing and lottery commissions. The racino, which will be called Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course, is scheduled to open in late 2014.
The facility will include a food court, sports bar, 1,000 slot machines, and 1,000 enclosed, climate-controlled seats with a view of a state-of-the-art racetrack.
