This year, Sylvania Township will open up its annual blood drive to the public and give away Dunkin’ Donuts coffee to those who give a pint of blood.

This year, Sylvania Township will open up its annual blood drive to the public and give away Dunkin’ Donuts coffee to those who give a pint of blood.

Last year, public employees held a blood drive with the American Red Cross. This year, the donation day will be open to those willing to donate a pint or more. “The Give a Pint. Get A Pound” event will be held in conjunction with Dunkin’ Donuts.

From Dec. 24 to Jan. 3, giving a pint of blood will earn donors a 2-ounce sample brick of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee and a coupon for a free pound of coffee.

The township’s blood drive is planned from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 3 in the Sylvania Township Administration Building, large meeting room, 4927 Holland-Sylvania Rd.
