NEW YORK — Bookseller Barnes & Noble Inc. has promoted the head of its Nook business to chief executive.
The retailer said Wednesday Michael Huseby, 59, will take the role immediately. CEO William Lynch left in July.
The firm, facing the growth of digital books, is targeted in an accounting probe by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
