La-Z-Boy promotes V.P. of retail to lead segment

MONROE — La-Z-Boy Inc. on Wednesday announced the promotion of Daniel King to president of its retail segment.

He has been vice president of La-Z-Boy’s retail operations since mid-2011. In his new role, he will be responsible for all facets of the company-owned La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries.

The company owns 101 of the 315 La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries. In fiscal 2014 the segment had about $300 million in sales.
