Fifth Third Bank uses vehicle for education

Free financial services available at mobile sites

Fifth Third Bank of Northwestern Ohio will send its financial education vehicle, the eBus, to five locations in Lucas and Wood counties this week, the bank said Monday.

Today it will stop at the Wayman Palmer YMCA at N. 14th St. in Toledo from noon to 4 p.m.

On Wednesday it will be at the Bowling Green Farmers Market at 275 S. Main St., Bowling Green, from 3 to 7 p.m.; on Thursday it will be at the Jobs & Family Services office at 3210 Monroe St. in Toledo from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; on Friday it will be at Fifth Third Field in Toledo from 4 to 8 p.m., and on Saturday it will be at the African-American Festival at the University of Toledo’s Scott Park Campus from 2 to 6 p.m.

The eBus is equipped with Internet-accessible computer workstations. Visitors will be provided with a variety of services free of charge, including one-on-one financial counseling, obtaining free credit reports and guidance on improving credit scores, help with avoiding foreclosure, health screenings, how to conduct online job searches, utility and disaster assistance help, and how to apply for a job with Fifth Third Bank.
