AUBURN HILLS, MICH. — Chrysler Group LLC has recalled a small number of 2015 Jeep Cherokees that may have been assembled with shocks and struts that don’t meet the company’‍s quality standards. Also included in the recall are some 2015 Chrysler 200s and 2014 Ram 1500 pickups.

The automaker said there is a chance the suspension components could break free from their mounts, potentially leading to loss of control of the vehicle. No crashes or complaints have been reported. Chrysler said the issue was identified by the supplier that manufactured the parts.

Chrysler said the recall affects about 14,300 vehicles in the United States and 5,300 in Canada. Another 2,160 sold in other markets may also be affected.
