Owens-Illinois expansion project OK'd

Building will be expanded by 1,925 square feet

The Owens-Illinois building on North Wilkerson Way just north of Spafford Drive will be expanded by 1,925 square feet into its parking lot.

The city of Perrysburg Planning Commission approved the expansion last week. A cooling tower and enclosed walkway are expected to be part of the expansion, but plans for that must go through Brody Walters, planning and zoning administrator. Taking away 10 parking spaces puts the building 13 below the requirement, but it still was approved.
